Hello,

after working about a year with xentry and a chinese clone c4 suddenly 2 of my laptops give a message "vci not recognized"
but i always had a c4 on both laptops. Someone an idea whats the problem or what went wrong ??
Don't have made an update from firmware or software, never made connection with internet !!
Xentry 05/2018 and windows 7 64 bit on both laptops.
Hope someone can help ??

CURRENT VERSION: EWA 1.29.35.22 with EPC 2018-11 & WIS 2019-07

WIS and EPC are running with EWA

Since WIS 03.19 was the last version containing a EWA version with both WIS and EPC

and EPC is online only now, here is the solution for those who want latest WIS

with last offline version EPC (2018.11)

UPDATE ONLY

Download the modified version I build of latest WIS here below

mount it on VirtualCloneDrive

Turn on Ewa tools

go to the Wis tab,  install

=====================================

FRESH install

Easy fresh EWA EPC WIS install

1) install jre.rar

go to configure Java and disable update

2) install VirtualCloneDrive.rar

( set vritual drives to 5 )

3) install ewa 1.29.35.22.rar

( remember, this is the last version able to handle EPC & WIS, never upgrade ! )

activate it with valid keys

EPC install

Get the EPC 2018-11 Torrent.rar

mount it on VirtualCloneDrive (mount all 5 DVD's at the same time !)

Turn on Ewa tools

go to the EPC tab,  install database

WIS install

===========

Download the modified version I build of latest WIS here below

Turn on Ewa tools

go to the WIS tab,  install database

Special notes:

once installed copy the ewa link to the desktop

open it with Windows Explorer, other browser might cause problems

with the first launch you will get Java nags, tick ALWAYS

Enter login : admin

Password: admin

change password to: 12345

Go here and click

set it to:

Hello,
I am thinking about buying new cloned VCI Mercedes interface from China. Currently, I am using cloned C4 (SDconnect) and I am wondering what is a difference between them two in practical terms. Is it better, faster or has any new features? Is it easy to configure with the new XDOS Xentry 09.2019? We all here would be very grateful if someone who has used this new device would give us some advice. Is it worth to switch from SDconnect to new VCI? Is the quality of the clone OK?
